Latest from WSDOT...

  • OLYMPIA – Whether traveling by road, ferry, train, plane – or sleigh – the best way to ensure smooth trips during the upcoming holiday weekend is to plan ahead and be prepared.

  • SEATTLE – While Santa is making a list and checking it twice, state ferry customers traveling this holiday season should regularly check online sailing schedules. Due to an ongoing staff shortage, the busy Seattle/Bainbridge Island, Edmonds/Kingston and Mukilteo/Clinton routes remain on one-boat service, with a second boat added daily as crewing availability allows.

  • MARBLEMOUNT – Travelers should prepare for lengthy daytime closures and delays this week on State Route 20, North Cascades Highway as Washington State Department of Transportation crews begin to assess the significant flood damage at milepost 113.7 just west of Sky Creek between Marblemount and Newhalem.
